This event will be played on The Junction Golf Course! Which is known for its beautiful scenery, wildlife, and tranquility. It is located at the foot of Lovers Leap, a scenic overlook of the City of Junction and the Hill Country Fairgrounds.: 2 rounds over 2 days [SAT: TEE TIMES; SUN: TEE TIMES]

WHY only (1) course in play? The City course is out due to baseball tournament.

1.01.B To compete in a B-Tier or above, players must be current members.

Concerning Underserved Demographics:
To foster the growth of the sport, The Junction Open offers early registration and holds spots for Female-Only Divisions, Junior Divisions, Senior (age 50 and older) divisions for a set duration of registration. These caps and spots will be lifted on 5-01-24 @ 6pm to accommodate other players, popular divisions and waitlist.

AM PLAYER PACKS: Every Amautuer Participant will receive a players pack which can be picked up any time during the weekend at H.Q. (ONESTAR STAMPED DISC of your choice, Jar of CALS SALSA, Event Sticker) We will be adding items as we draw closer to event from our gracious sponsors!

TROPHIES: Trophies to winners of divisions with at least (3) players.
(in the case of ties, players may play-off, CTP or staff will assist with a random drawing to determine trophy recipients. WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ORDERING EXTRA TROPHIES).

FORMAT:
SAT: ROUND 1: TEE TIMES STARTING AT 8:30am

SUN: ROUND 2: TEE TIMES STARTING AT 8:30am
PDGA 1.05 - It is the sole responsibility of the player to know the course rules, be at their starting hole, and be ready to play in time for the start of their round.

CHECK IN: THERE IS NO NEED FOR EVENT CHECK-IN AT HQ as you can grab your player pack anytime during the weekend however, players must check in with the starter no less than 5 minutes prior to their tee time each day and be present at the starting hole for the 5 minutes preceding their tee time each day.

GENERAL RULES:
All PDGA Rules will be followed to promote fair play for all disc golfers. If any point in dispute is not covered by the rules, the decision is made in accordance with fairness.

The TWO-meter rule IS NOT IN EFFECT!

OUT of BOUNDS (806.02 Out-of-Bounds): ALL BALL GOLF GREENS ARE OB!!!! Artificial OB will be marked with white paint, string, post and flags. Fence & beyond OB. Road and beyond OB. CART PATHS ARE NOT OB!
All lies near OB that have barbed wire get 2-meter relief.
If in cactus or nettle take casual relief to the FIRST PLAYABLE lie. All other lies near OB get 1 meter relief from the OB line.

(806.02 Out-of-Bounds) C: A disc that cannot be found is considered to be out-of-bounds if there is compelling evidence that the disc came to rest within an out-of-bounds area. In the absence of such evidence, the disc is considered lost and play proceeds according to 805.03.

805.03 Lost DISC: (3) minutes to locate (everyone must HELP! ), if determined lost proceed to previous lie w/ one stroke penalty.
