About this tournament

The Joy House Open is a charity fundraiser event via the PDGA Competition Endowment Program to raise funds to install permanent baskets on The Joy House Campus. All competitors will play two rounds of 18 holes. All PDGA rules will apply. There will be no two-meter rule. $750 added cash will be added to the Pro Purse - $500 to Pros and $250 to Masters. 50% of entry fees will be donated to The Joy House. Amateur divisions will be Trophy Only. Amateurs will also receive a players pack of at least a $40 value.

The Joy House

The Joy House provides Christ-centered restorative care and counseling for struggling teens, families and individuals. Nick Richardson, the boys' houseparent, has found disc golf to be a tremendously positive outlet for teens during their residency at the Joy House. While an 18 hole disc golf course has been designed on the campus, the Joy House does not have 18 baskets to complete the course. Please help us raise funds to complete the course. Donations

If you'd like to donate to The Joy House, but do not want to play in the event, you can donate through the event registration - just select a DON division. They're non-participant divisions, so you won't be included in the players' list.

There are three levels of donation:

- DON1 $20
- DON2 $50
- DON3 $200

DON3 Basket sponsors will receive their name on the permanent tee sign when the course is installed.

Lunch

The Joy House is fairly isolated from any restaurants or fast food. Smokin' Chefs will be on site at The Joy House providing a BBQ lunch. Lunch is not included in your entry fees, so please bring cash to pay for lunch.
