The event is 2 sanctioned rounds at Jackson Rec Park. The layout for the 1st Round will include red (long) baskets on Holes 1 and 17. Hole 11 long teepad will also be used, turning that hole into a 770 foot par 5. The layout for the 2nd Round will include red (long) baskets on Holes 5 and 18, and will also include Hole 11 long tee pad.

Pros are playing for cash for the top 40% of each division. Ams will receive a $18 merch credit and a JP stamped Zing mini for a player's pack. Any item picked over the $18 store credit will be sold to you at the difference of the price. Ams will also receive a payout for placing in the top 45% of their division. Am payouts will be paid with JP merch credit. 1st place from every division will receive a trophy designed by Chad Martin and DiscOrganized (www.discorganizeddg.com). Chad and DiscOrganized specializes in making custom disc golf storage crates and trophies for disc golf events. CTPs for the day are as follows: Round 1- Hole 2 Round 2- Hole 17 Yellow CTP prizes will be announced the morning of the event.

A caddy guide will be distributed before the first round. There are a lot of OBs at Jackson, so make sure at least one person from your card has a caddy guide. Paper scorecards will be available in small quantities. The preferred scoring medium will be PDGA live scoring, and both layouts have been uploaded into UDisc to provide as a backup. To begin scoring through PDGA, visit www.pdga.com/score, put in the access code "JPOPEN" and build your card of players from there and choose the correct starting hole.

Please remember the 3 minute rule for finding a lost disc. If a lost disc cannot be found in that time, please re-throw from your previous lie with a stroke penalty. This could save us a lot of time on tournament day and minimize backups. From a blind shot, you can always throw a provisional in case you are unsure about where your first shot is. This may save a lot of time.
