About this tournament

The Holiday Classic at Castle Hayne, sponsored by Throw Coast Disc Golf, is a one-day, two-round PDGA C-Tier tournament set for Sunday, December 14, 2025.
We’re closing out the season at one of North Carolina’s most respected courses with a competitive, community-focused event. This tournament is TD’d by John Blackburn and supported by the Throw Coast team. All divisions will play shotgun starts for both rounds.
This event is designed for both pros and amateur players looking to end the year with one more solid tournament experience.
Pro Payouts
Pro divisions will be paid out to the top 40% of each division. Payouts will be distributed via PayPal, with 80% of entry fees going directly into the payout pool. No cash will be paid out on site.

Amateur Player Pack
All AM players will receive a tournament player pack valued at over $50, which includes:
A custom Holiday Classic hoodie — soft, high-quality, and built to last beyond the event
A Throw Coast glow mini
Select your hoodie color and size during your registration. Sizes are guaranteed if submitted by Thursday, November 20th. After that date, hoodie sizes or colors cannot be guaranteed.
Amateur divisions will be trophy-only.

Round 1: White baskets, except holes 2 and 9, will play to blue baskets
Round 2: Full blue basket layout
Tee pads by division:
Long pads – MPO, MP40, MA1
Short pads – All other divisions

Refund policy
All refunds and cancellations are handled by John Blackburn in accordance with PDGA policy.
A non-refundable $2.50 cancellation fee will be deducted from all refunds
Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method
