About this tournament

Welcome to the 6th Annual Highlander Classic Disc Golf Event sponsored by Findlay Toyota Flagstaff
Food and Refreshments provided by Fratelli Pizza, Swire Coca Cola, and Historic Brewing

This year's tournament will be in Flagstaff, Arizona, courses to be determined. This is a Scotch Doubles Format, shotgun start, two round, 21+ holes per round, 2 day, all divisions allowed, tournament; plus a a Putting Contest. All players get an entry to the putting contest.

AM Players Pack Value of 110% or more; we'll have beverages, pizza, and BBQ potluck Sunday! Tons of cash and prizes for payouts, CTPs, Raffles, food, drinks, and more!

FORMAT
This is a modified alternate shot "Scotch Doubles". Literally Alternate Shot, but continuous, throughout the entire round. You choose who starts, but it's every other shot after that. Example: Player A drives, Player B takes the up shot, Player A misses the putt, Player B finishes, Player A is Driving again on the next hole. Pick Your Partner Wisely! Watch last year's video for more details. 2 days, 2 Rounds, and a lot of holes!

PUTTING CONTEST
The Putting Contest is a separate entry fee and open to non tournament players. Every tournament player gets one entry with registration. Winner takes all the cash! We typically have two pools with $500 each; 2026 payouts TBD.

This is an unsanctioned event. So no holds barred! Just kidding, we want to keep this fun and to make a positive impact on our community and the sport of disc golf.

We'll handle the payouts and trophies following the final round Sunday.

In partnership with Findlay Toyota Flagstaff we are hosting the 2026 The Highlander Classic to benefit a the local disc golf community for 2026. Past beneficiaries - Boys & Girls Club of Flagstaff, Shadows Foundation, Friends of Coconino County Parks, Flagstaff Disc Golf Club

We understand that life happens and plans can change. If you need to withdraw from the Sixth Annual Highlander Classic, please note we will follow the PDGA Competition Manual on Withdrawals and Refunds. How to Withdraw: Players must email or phone the Tournament Director at the contact information posted for the tournament. Withdrawing via social media or telling other tournament staff is not official.

Waitlist Refunds:
Players on the waitlist who do not get into the event, or who withdraw before the waitlist closes, will receive a 100% refund (minus a handling fee of up to $10).
Note: If you paid a "nominal non-refundable waitlist fee" (e.g., $5 to hold your spot without paying full entry), that fee is non-refundable.

Withdrawal Timeline & Payouts
30+ Days Before Event: You will receive a 100% monetary refund of your entry fee (minus a handling fee of up to $10).
15 to 29 Days Before Event: If your spot is filled by a waitlist player: You will receive a 100% monetary refund (minus up to $10 handling fee). If your spot is NOT filled: You will receive either a 50% monetary refund OR the Player’s Pack you would have received (minus shipping). Note: Pros receiving a 50% refund.
14 Days Before Event (up to Registration Close): If your spot is filled by a waitlist player: You will receive a 100% monetary refund (minus up to $10 handling fee).
If your spot is NOT filled: You will receive either a 25% monetary refund OR the Player’s Pack you would have received (minus shipping). Note: Pros receive a 25% refund.
Within 48 Hours of Event (or after Registration Closes): No refund or player pack will be provided.
