About this tournament
Welcome to The Helix Open 2021 hosted by Helix Disc Golf and driven by Innova Champion Discs! This tournament is being held at Desert Dunes Golf Club in Desert Hot Springs, CA. This is a fun and challenging 19-hole par-67 temp course through scenic desert landscaping.
This is PDGA C-Tier tournament and also an official SoCal Series event. Non PDGA members will have to pay an additional $10 at registration. Non SoCal Disc Golf Club members will be required to pay an additional $5 for entry.
All players will be playing the same layout. The tournament will have two different days of play. Each day will be a separate tournament, so you can play either day or both days if you want. Both days will feature two rounds with shotgun starts and a break in between. We will be using the golf carts provided by the course. Snacks, drinks and food will be available for purchase at the course. We will be able to use the clubhouse for lunch and the awards ceremony.
For all amateur divisions, this will be a trophy-only event. The division must consist of 3 players to earn a trophy. Players will have the option to change divisions or consolidate divisions before the event if there aren't enough registrants in a particular division.
TWO-DAY PLAYERS (PLEASE READ):
For professional players who wish to play both days, you will have to register separately and pay full price for each day to cover the entry fee and pro payouts. For amateur players who wish to play both days and only want to receive one player pack, you can sign up separately on both days. The second day fee will only be $40. There is a discount option you can apply when completing your second registration. Please note you must have registered and paid full price for the first registration before you can apply the discount on the second registration! If you wish to play both days and receive two player packs, then you can sign up at full price each day. Unfortunately, non SoCal Club and non-PDGA fees apply both days no matter what because these are two separate sanctioned tournaments.
*Registration Fee includes: greens fee, cart rental and tournament fee. All proceeds from tee sponsorships and CFR disc sales will be added cash toward Pro Division payouts.

Refund policy
Helix Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. If you cancel after 9/11/21, you will not receive a full refund of your entry fee. 20% will be withheld and you will receive a partial refund of the remainder. If you cancel after 9/17/21 or don't show the day of the tournament, you will receive no refund.
