About this tournament
Welcome to The Halloween Spooktacular! This is an unsanctioned, stroke-play, 18-hole night tournament full of fun and prizes. New for this year, a Space Race player pack is available for the first 24 registrants! Costumes are highly encouraged and will automatically result in an extra raffle ticket as well as between 1-2 strokes off your final score depending how elaborate it is! There will be placement prizes, over $200 in raffle prizes, mulligans available for purchase, and much, much, more. The proceeds for this event will benefit the Blue Ridge Disc Golf Club.
Please show up with your glow discs or disc lights (a limited number of disc lights will be available for purchase the day of the tournament if you don't have any). Safety:
Baskets, tee pads, and stream crossings will be illuminated, however you are responsible for safely navigating the disc golf course. This includes being aware of your surroundings and ensuring the group in front of you has completely finished playing the hole before you begin play. While you can (and should) bring a flashlight and/or headlamp, please be mindful of how you’re using it around the group that you’re playing with. Nobody likes to have a light shining in their face when they’re trying to throw. If you’re unsure of what usage of extra lighting is and isn’t distracting, just ask the people on your card!
Layout:
The course layout will most closely follow the “Short-Long, Long-Short” layout, however the tee pads and baskets will be lit up with a corresponding color, so the actual layout everyone will follow will be “Tee pads lit up green throwing to green baskets followed by “Tee pads lit up orange throwing to orange baskets”. The tee pad for hole 5 will be shared for both the green and orange baskets.
The goal of this tournament is to have fun and raise money for the club. We'd love to have you attend!

Refund policy
Due to limited Space Race player pack availability and pre-ordering requirements, refunds will not be issued for this tournament. However, if for some reason you're not able to attend, we will make all reasonable efforts to get the players pack in your hands.
