Welcome to the fifth year of the Golden Goose Open!
This is a two round shotgun start event at Spoon Creek Disc Golf Course. Some basket locations will change for round two like previous years.
We have added $555 for the fifth year!!
Will Tyler win five years in a row?? Or will someone new take the gold?? Can’t wait to find out!

Competitive Men - Pick this division if you want to compete for Trophies and cash payout. These players will be moved based on score for the second round.
Casual Men - Pick this division if you want to compete for DFX score credit. We will try to keep the same card mates you've requested as best we can for round two.

We will be using Udisc for scoring both rounds.
Spoon Creek is a private disc golf course with tight wooded holes and elevation shots. The course is a fun challenge for all skill levels.

Players Pack:
- 2026 DFX Dragoose event Jersey (runs a half size big)
- 2026 DFX Dragoose in house stamped disc
- Event stamped Zing mini
- Bbq lunch
CTPs on multiple holes during the first round.
CTG (closest to goose)
There will be a golden goose out on the course during the first round. When you get to that hole. You will have the option of playing the hole or going for the golden goose. Which will most likely cost you an extra throw on that hole. Closest to goose after round one will receive a golden goose stamped event disc.
A Putting Challenge will happen during round one. A paper scorecard will be given out for the first round to keep track of made putts. After there has been time to eat lunch, the players with the top scores from the putting challenge will face off in the putting championship on marksman baskets. Razz and distractions are highly encouraged!!! Winner of the putting challenge will receive $100 cash! Tournament Directors reserve the right to increase players advancing to the finals at their own discretion.
Ace Pool. If no aces are hit during either round, there will be a Wild Goose Ch-ACE. Rules will be given on site, but only an Ace will end the madness. You are not required to stay to participate. (This is what happened in the 2024 event.)
Podium finishers for Men and Women will receive DFXdiscs.com gift cards (ties will playoff):
