About this tournament
2 rounds of play
It's spring in Alaska again and that means it's time to fling some plastic in the forest at Girdwood! This event will be a C Tier for the amateur divisions, with participants receiving their full value in the players' packs. We will play the first round from the regular tees, followed by the gold tees for round 2. Registration is capped at 72, so be sure to register once it opens!
CADDY NOTES: The creek, Alyeska Highway, ball field, and playground/skate park are all OB. Normal OB rules apply, play from where last in bounds
If your group can't reach a consensus on a ruling, play a provisional and see the TD prior to submitting your scores
Hole 1: No OB
Hole 2: No OB
Hole 3: the parking lot to the left of the basket is OB, marked by white line - line is not painted through the bushes to Alyeska Highway, use group consensus to determine a straight line from the end of the paint to the road
Hole 4: the asphalt parking lot to the left is OB
Hole 5: asphalt parking lot and area beyond basket OB, marked by string, flags, and pink paint on the snow patch
Hole 6: OB left in the ball field, parking lot, and camp host area indicated by white line starting at fence corner - any throws past the end of the white line are considered in bounds
Hole 7: the road and beyond left is OB, you must be in bounds on the basket side
Hole 8: the road and left side are OB, you must cross in bounds on the right (basket) side or re tee with penalty - if you are past the end of the white line behind the basket area you are in bounds
Hole 9: No OB
Hole 10: OB if you are long in the road or beyond
Hole 11: the road and beyond right is OB
Hole 12: OB wide left at the road, mandatory marked by pink ribbon on tree on right side of the fairway, drop zone marked for throws which miss the mandatory - throws must travel to the left side of the mandatory (mainly applicable on Gold tees)
Hole 13: OB wide right at the road
Hole 14: the road is OB, you are safe on either side
Hole 15: No OB, mandatory tree on the right side marked by ribbon - you must travel to the left side of the mandatory, drop zone marked for shots that miss the mandatory (mainly applicable on Gold tees)
Hole 16: No OB
Hole 17: No OB
Hole 18: OB wide right at the road
