About this tournament

Hello Everyone!
Thank you for registering for the Fling XXIV 2021 at Chavez Ridge DGC
This is our first sanctioned tournament since January 2020. We are so happy to be back!
The schedule is as follows:
8:00 AM Check-In
8:30 AM Players Meeting (please be there attentive and listen)
8:58 AM Two Minutes (no more putting or throwing)
9:00 AM Start
12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM Lunch (Depending on speed of play this could be earlier)
1:15 PM Head to 2nd Round Holes
1:28 PM Two Minutes
1:30 PM 2nd Round Start
5:30 - 6:00 PM Awards Ceremony (Hopefully)
Taco Lunch is included for all players. Water and some drinks as well.
Please do bring plenty of your own water and snacks as it will be a LONG DAY.
The course is extremely dry and dusty, so wear good hiking shoes if possible as some of the slopes can be a little treacherous with loose dirt.
Plan on a grueling, but fun, hike up and down the ravines at Chavez Ridge.
A sunbrella might be a good idea too since we've lost a lot of shade, and sunscreen!
We're doing 2 laps of 21 Holes. The Holes aren't too long and the flow is as smooth as I could get it. There are a few longer walks between some holes, really only 3, so we'll all survive!
The layout is on UDisc as well. So you can follow along on your phone during the rounds.
Check in starting at 8am. Come to the canopy we'll have set up at Tournament Central and let us know you're there and get your T-Shirt and Players Pack if applicable.
After the 8:30 Players meeting you'll have about 15 minutes to get to your respective holes.
If you're starting on Holes 3-15 it might be easier to drive up and park on the top. Otherwise stay parked down below.
There are bathrooms below close ish to tournament central. I'm working on another porta-potty for up top, so fingers crossed on that!
If you are planning on withdrawing from the tournament please notify me ASAP. We have a large waitlist and people really want in. No refunds will be given out for a no show day of.
