As most of you may know by now, this is a B tier disc golf tournament to raise money and awareness to the Heroine / opioid epidemic. It has been estimated that up to 1 million people have died from an overdose since 2000. Nearly 80 thousand in 2019 alone. These are not just numbers, it's our Children, our Brothers and Sisters, our Parents, our Neighbors. It's hard to imagine knowing someone who hasn't been affected by this horrible epidemic. My family lost Dylan at only 26 years young, the hurt is as deep as it was on 12-01-17 This year we are raising money for The Mission in Lexington Park, MD. I have witnessed lots of people who have used this great game we play as therapy to get through hard times and found better people to spend time with. The impact of seeing the faces of the ones who lost the fight or hopefully won their fight is very powerful.
