About this tournament
If you earned a spot on one of the DGM Sponsor Teams, congratulations. You are already invited. But there are a few spots left.
Like any other year, each Disc Golf Mart location will be creating and hosting several tournaments to serve their respective communities.
However, this year those tournaments will also offer something extra to some specific division winners...a spot in the Disc Golf Mart Invitational!

Unsanctioned Silliness Driven by Uncomfortable Choices
The Indy shop has a growing list of tournaments that are becoming annual favorites. They may not run PDGA Sanctioned stuff very often, but the tournaments you see out of this DGM are built around specific disc restrictions and or requirements that take you out of your game before you've even thrown a single shot.
Indy won the original DGM Donnybrook last year at Idlewild. They'll be defending the Mike Gates Trophy on Indiana soil at Boylan Acres Disc Golf Courses in Monrovia this fall.
Tournaments (all dates are tentative):
Putter Based Challenge - Friday, July 3rd
The Disc Draft Cup - Saturday, August 8th
The Closed Bag Open - Saturday, September 26th
Mixed Bag Meltdown - Sunday, September 27th

The OG Location Paving the Way
Whether they're resurrecting an old favorite course in town or providing exclusive experiences with pop-up courses, the Columbus shop is always pushing the boundaries of what is possible for Ohio Disc Golf. They love to put on events for singles and doubles, making sure all applicable divisions are represented.
The defeat at last years' DGM Donnybrook stung pretty hard for this squad. As the most active and profitable location, Columbus feels the pressure this year to come away with the hardware; hoping to bring the Mike Gates Trophy back to Mike Gates' original store.

Louisville KY
Making a Name for Themselves in the 502
After relocating from New Albany then relocating again within Louisville, the KY store is now firmly at home in its new location and looking to hit the ground rolling. They are putting on sanctioned and unsanctioned events as well as sponsoring multiple area events as the payout vendor.
In 2025 Louisville lost the DGM Donnybrook not only finishing 3rd out of 3, but they did it within Kentucky's borders at the hands of Idlewild's MPO layout. They definitely have something to prove in 2026.
