Welcome to the Disc Draft Cup at VFW Post 7119 hosted by Team Disc Golf Mart – a wild, two-round, build-your-bag disc golf tournament like no other.
We finally answer the age old question: is it the Archer or the Aero?
You won’t bring your own discs — you’ll draft your entire bag on the spot from a massive central pile of new, used, and surprise discs provided by Disc Golf Mart and donations. You’ll pick 6 discs total (2 per round over 3 fast-paced draft rounds), and those are the only discs you’ll use for the round — and yes, you keep them! Don't forget to bring a bag to carry them unless you want to haul them around by hand.
This is a USED DISC DRAFT BAG TOURNAMENT:
-Players will show up with 0 discs
-Players will have access to a massive stockpile of Used Discs from which they will choose no more than (6) discs
-Players will only be allowed to play with the discs that they drafted
-Players will own the discs once the tournament starts; you leave with the discs you drafted
$40 Per Person includes:
-6 Discs (used, new[ish], collectibles)
-2 Rounds of 18 holes at the private new VFW course
-A Portion of Entry Fee goes toward Prize Fund
-2 dollar pass through for course fees
Layout: 18 Hole Layout with OB and Mandos. The same for all divisions. When your bag’s built in 20 minutes from a mystery pile, it’s less about the tee and more about how well you adapt — especially when it’s figuring out how to throw that flippy mid you panic-picked.
Optional Ace/CTP Fund: The ace pot starts at $300, plus all player buy-ins. If no Ace is hit, half of the fund will be donated to the WIndy Women's League. We will throw off a CTP on hole 1 (to 18's basket), for other half – only for folks who paid in.
Food And Drink: The post's canteen will be open for drink purchases of all kinds, including adult beverages during the event. Food may be available purchase as well.
