About this tournament
Welcome to The DETour 2026 formerly known as the Northern Delaware Amateur Disc Golf Tour!
For those who have participated in the Northern Delaware Disc Golf Tour, much of this will be familiar to you, however as usual there will be updates, upgrades, and quality of life improvements so it's best to read through the description.
Participants will compete in a “tour style” unsanctioned tournament over the course of the disc golf season, culminating in a Tour Championship style tournament!
As usual, ladies will be eligible for the tour playoffs, but they will also compete in a ladies specific division.
THIS YEAR WE WILL HAVE BASE DIVISIONS AND OPTIONAL SUB DIVISIONS!
These divisions are as follows:
BASE
Amateur- Players rated below 940 per PDGA ratings or if the player has no PDGA rating we can discuss the appropriate division
Pro- Anyone rated 940 or above or anyone who wants to compete in the pro division bracket. You can sign up for the pro division if you are below 940.
OPTIONAL SUBDIVISIONS
Subdivision 1: Masters- Anyone over the age of 50 or turning 50 in 2026
Subdivision 2: Novice- Anyone rated under 900 as of March 2026
Each month will have a course and layout that must be played in that month. Each player will complete one scored round at that course in that month. If a player is unable to play the course during the required month, as 18 over par for the course.
Players must play with 2 other players who are also part of the tour at minimum and post a timestamped scorecard/photo when they start their round. Players who have played their round and recorded a score can act as non-scoring judges on cards for players who have yet to complete their round but cannot change their scored round.
DUE TO AN ABNORMALLY HIGH AMOUNT OF PEOPLE NOT OBTAINING THEIR PLAYERS PACKS IN RECENT YEARS WE HAVE DECIDED TO DECREASE THE VALUE OF THE PLAYERS PACK AND PROVIDE LARGER PAYOUTS. THIS YEAR'S PLAYERS PACK IS A CUSTOM PAIR OF ATHLETIC SOCKS.
AS USUAL, LOSCO GLASS WILL BE PROVIDING A SICK WINNERS TROPHIES
If there are any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me. 2018738079, [email redacted]

CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON

FINAL ROUND- CANBY WEST LONGS
The 8 players with the lowest cumulative scores over the 6 courses will get byes into later rounds of the championship stage. If the final players who would make it into the championship stages are tied, all players at that score will make the next round.
Round 1: A total of 60% of the initial field less the top 8 participants will make the first round of the championship series. The bottom 40% of the initial field will be eliminated. The top 8 players will get automatic byes into the second round. The 12 best scoring players of round 1 will advance to the next round, with ties being broken by lowest seed.
Round 2: The second round will include the 12 players that advanced from round 1 and the top 8 overall participants from the tour stops. All players who make this round will guarantee at least their money back less the players pack cost. (most likely more than their money back) (Total of 20 players)
Round 3: CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND The third and final round will include the 4 best scoring players from round 2 and will and will be played again at CANBY WEST LONGS on an agreed upon date for all parties for the DeTour Championship. (Total of 4 players)
