About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Find a partner! The Crickle Creek Doubles Classic is a two-round doubles event. The first round is best shot doubles from the blue tees, you may choose which of your two lies to proceed from.
The second round is worst shot doubles (sometimes called ‘tough throw’) from the red tees. You must choose the worse lie to proceed from, followed by the worse lie for second and third shots etc. until either teammate makes a throw/putt in the basket. If it is not obvious which lie is worse your cardmates will decide for you. MA3 will play from the reds both rounds.
For both rounds: once either teammate makes a throw/putt in the basket the hole is complete, e.g. if the first teammate completes the hole then the second teammate does not need to putt at all. You may not take extra practice putts once a putt is made.
$20/per team cash entry fee due at morning players meeting. If you do not have a partner feel free to comment on this page so you can be paired with someone. Teams may be moved up/down a division by the TD to ensure a fair level of play for each division. Team name for registration and shirts of matching colour are compulsory. If at any point, you need to withdraw, please contact the TD.
Cash prize and souvenirs for top finishers. Optional Ace Pot $10/per team. $500 carryover from 2025 - if you paid into the ace pot at a 2025 Crickle Creek event you are already entered. If no aces, it will rollover to the Fourth Annual Disc Duel.
Additional $10 day pass for Crickle Creek non-members. Tournament tweaks to the course on holes 4, 10 and 15 are detailed in the pictures section. These will be flagged for practice Thursday/Friday.
In the event of a playoff, teams will play worst shot from the reds on holes 1 & 18 on loop.
UDisc will be used for scoring, please provide your UDisc username in ‘Notes/Comments’ during registration.
