Awards will be distributed shortly after each division finishes. We will present awards inside the Reidy Creek clubhouse, with photos to be taken in front of the event banner. Ams receiving merch will receive an envelope with "funny money" that can be redeemed at the Dog Haus Disc Shop booth. Pro payout will be handled via PayPal or Venmo (please confirm addresses with us!) In the case of First Place ties, ties must be broken by playoff. Playoffs will be sudden-death, played on Holes 18 (play 18 as many times as needed). Playoffs will squeeze in between scheduled tee times (we do have a few open tee time slots scheduled for this).

About this tournament
Welcome to The Challenge at Reidy Creek 2026, presented by Innova Disc Golf and Dog Haus Disc Shop! This tournament is a PDGA-sanctioned A-Tier for Professional players and a PDGA-sanctioned B-Tier for Amateur players. Professionals will play 3 rounds: Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday (June 19-21); Amateurs will play 2 rounds: Saturday and Sunday (June 20-21). Tee times will be used all three days. Round 1 tee times will be posted at least 24 hours before Round 1 play begins.
We are once again a USDGC/TPWDGC Qualifier event! Two invitations will be on the line for the USDGC (MPO division) and one invitation for the Throw Pink Women's Disc Golf Championship (FPO Division). https://usdiscgolf.com/usdgc-qualifying-events/
The Challenge is also a DGPT "Q Series" event for 2026! Players in Q Series events earn points toward receiving a DGPT Tour Card for the 2027 season. Our MPO and FPO players will be competing for these points. https://www.dgpt.com/announcements/2026-q-series/
Tee times for Friday's first round (Pro divisions only) will be posted on Thursday morning (June 18th). Tee times for Saturday's first round of play by Amateur divisions (technically Round 2 of the tournament) will also be posted on Thursday morning (June 18th). ALL TEE TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO DNFs. Tee times will be posted on the PDGA.com event page: https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/97579
Tentative tee time blocks are posted in a PDF up above, in the "Documents" section.
This event is part of the So Cal Series, with players earning points towards year-end cash prizes (for Pros) and merchandise prizes (for Ams). To be part of this great tradition, begun by So Cal co-founder Tim Selinske, join So Cal at: https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournament/2025_So_Cal_Disc_Golf_Club_Membership_2026
Be prepared for a unique, but straightforward test of your disc golf skills. We've had a great event the last two years, with close competition. If you played in the previous events, you'll remember that OB and Hazard lines will tighten some of the Reidy Creek fairways and putting areas. We have made a few minor changes to target positions and a few Hazard/OB lines, based on player feedback and scoring data. There will be no mandatories and only one artificial island (for MPO/MP40/MA1), but you will be challenged with golf shots that require skill and accuracy.
Hole 18 will once again feature a throw over the ponds. (Watch out, turtles!)
Thanks to our sponsor partners we will have a 100%+ return on net entry fees plus $3,000+ added cash for the Professional divisions and at least a 170% return on net entry fees for Amateur divisions. This event qualifies as a PDGA True Amateur event, since the player pack value is at or above the Net Entry Fee. Because of this, payout for Amateur divisions will be awarded to the top 25% of finishers.
We invite you to join us in supporting the event by sponsoring a tee sign or purchasing a fundraiser disc. Both are available as part of your registration. Photos of the fundraiser discs can be seen in the "Pictures" section. Contact Allen or Shaun if you'd like to do more than a tee sign or fundraiser disc!
We will have 3 one-week tiers for MPO/FPO registration based on player rating, so we can assure a highly competitive field, beginning April 28, 2026. There is one week of early registration, opening May 12, 2026 at 7pm, limited to Women's divisions, Junior divisions, and Tournament Sponsors. After this early registration period, tournament staff reserve the right to combine divisions if a division has fewer than 4 players, except for "underserved" divisions as specified in PDGA Competition Manual Section 2.02.L.2. Divisions qualifying as "underserved" (Women, Juniors, "M" divisions 50 and over) will not be closed or merged. Any changes in the divisions offered will be made on or after May 19, 2026. Open registration for all other players begins May 19, 2026 at 7:01pm.
Hole maps will be placed in an electronic caddie book which will be posted on this Disc Golf Scene page as a PDF file (just above the event logo). Course and hole rules, including pars, distances, tee/target locations and OB/Hazard descriptions will be posted as a webpage link below. We will use PDGA Live Scoring for this event, with all layout information identical to what is posted on Disc Golf Scene. There are two UDisc layouts available on UDisc for practice. The UDisc layouts are not official - distances are not accurate because of how UDisc uses GPS measurement based on markers you drop on the map. UDisc layouts may not have the final correct hole rules, so use UDisc to practice, but not during the tournament.
Accurate and official hole details can be found at the links below. This information is identical to what you'll see on PDGA Live Scoring:
