About this tournament
Who can put the best 4 person team together and take home some Cash!
This is your chance to play Collegiate doubles and help grow the sport in our area. Your registration will support the Central Virginia Juniors Series as we introduce kids in our are to this great sport that we all love.
Which club can put together the best team? Roanoke, Lynchburg, Bedford, Hova, someone else? Register your Team of 4 and compete for major bragging rights.
We will be playing the beautiful Goliath course which should also take away anyones "home course" advantage since no one really gets to play here a lot.
**There is no limit to the amount of teams that can register from one specific club or area. But it is a Winner take all event--"If you aint first, you're last".
Only 1 team will walk away with the cash.
Payout--All Teams are competing for a 40% split of the registration money. The CVJS will take the other 60% to help provide a FREE series of 5 tournaments and prizes for 2025.
Heres the catch--There is a ratings cap of 3600 for every team (so everyone will have a chance to take home the prize money.) This is an unsanctioned tournament, so there will be no effect on anyones Amateur status for taking home money.
Each Team will put together 4 players whose PDGA ratings when added together cannot exceed 3600.
A player without a PDGA rating will automatically be counted with a 900 rating.
If a player is not currently an active PDGA member, but was in the past and had a rating, that rating will be used.
The Teams rating will be calculated at time of registration (we will not break up a team if for some reason a players rating jumps a few points between the march and April updates)

*****Stay and Play a 2nd round with NO ratings cap on a 4 person team. Compare your BEST overall team with the other clubs around you. Round 2 will cost another $20/player or $80/team with the same payout as round 1 with the winning team taking home 40%. Signup and pay for the 2nd round ONSITE with either Cash or PayPal.
