Aaron was once the life of the party. He was outgoing full of life and so very hopeful and kind-hearted Then he saw the battles of war and was forever affected. He came back from deployments a totally different person. He became emotionally closed off. He stopped seeing people as someone to help. He couldn’t stand going to a store because of crowds constantly looking over his shoulder until finally, he stopped going. A backfiring car would throw him to the ground covering his head. Aaron is not the same person he once was. The nightmares and night terrors are all too real and heartbreaking to watch.

Aaron was injured several times in his military career. He served his country with honor for 10 years before having to get out due to medical problems. He suffers from
Combat PTSD
OCD
Server Anxiety
Social Phobia large groups
Nightmares
Night terrors
Sleep Apnea
Moderate Depression
Sexual dysfunctions
Hypervigilance
Fractured Shoulder
Major back problems
knee problems

This PDGA C Tier is to ask you to help him raise funds for a service animal (dog) that has been highly recommended for him to deal with his suffering. This animal would help wake him when night terrors start. The dog would recognize when anxiety was starting and bring it to his attention and help soothe the anxiety. The dog will help with depression through companionship.

They have a company in the process of training a dog but he needs the money to get this service dog when the training is done. The VA will help with vet expenses but not with the financials of getting the dog. Service animals with the training are around $15,000.00.

They have the letters from the people he sees at the VA and out of the VA stating it will give him a better quality of life by assisting Aaron in handling everyday life.

If you have questions before you help please reach out we will supply everything we have.

thank you in advance for your help.
