About this tournament
We will be going a slightly different route this year with this event. Rather than raising funds to take care of our own course, we will be donating a portion of all entry fees to the WNCDGA (Western North Carolina Disc Golf Association is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fostering, promoting, and improving the support and community of disc golf in the Western North Carolina area.)
They are helping restore the disc golf courses of western NC that are suffering from Hurricane Helene's damages.
This will be a one day two round event at Barnet Park.
Breakdown will be as follows:
$2 to the PDGA fees
$10 to the fundraiser
The remainder will go towards am player packs and payout. (Junior divisions are trophy only)
Pro's will be paid out via Paypal, and Am's will receive vouchers to the Scorpion Disc Golf Store which will be on site all day.
Am's will receive a 20$ credit to the scorpion disc golf store for their players pack. There will be 100% payout for the top 40-45% of the field after fees (listed above). I plan to have 18 CTP's out at the event (9 each round).
Layout is as follows for all divisions except FA1 and junior divisions which will play red tees to yellow baskets both rounds:
1 - Blue tee - yellow pin
2 - Red tee
3 - Red tee
4 - Blue tee - yellow pin
5 - Blue tee
6 - Red
7 - Blue tee - yellow pin
8 - Blue tee - yellow pin
9 - Red tee - red pin (alternate)
10 - Blue tee - yellow pin
11 - Red tee
12 - Blue tee
13 - Red tee
14 - Red tee - red pin (alternate, this may change to blue tee yellow basket if it is very wet day of the tournament)
15 - Red tee
16 - Red tee - yellow pin
17 - Blue tee
18 - Blue tee
