About this tournament

This is a fundraiser event designed to raise money for the LoCo Disc Golf Club's Ice Bowl donation to Loudoun Hunger Relief!
This event will crown the first ever Doubles Big Lid Event at Hal and Berni Hanson Park Disc Golf Course. Teams will be created by random. Players must use their own ultimate disc(s) provided they are approved by the TD before the Tournament. Only Ultimate discs may be used. No other type of Ultraclass disc may be used (e.g., Condor, Zypher, etc.)
The doubles format will be a modified alternate shot format. Each team may choose who tees off on odd and even holes and must stick to that alternating tee shot pattern for the entire round. After the tee shot, the format becomes best shot. Importantly, every team must use 9 Tee Shots of each player.
In the spirit of the Ice Bowl, the event will take place regardless of weather. No wimps or whiners.
