The field is limited to 32 players who will earn berths from member clubs or by participating in MiMPA sanctioned qualifying events during the 2013-14 season.

Format and payouts are as follows:

The 32 players who qualify to compete in this event will play, two, back-to-back, 18 hole matches paring the field down to the final 8.

After lunch, the 24 players who have been eliminated will play one 18-hole round of random draw doubles with 1st place netting $400, 2nd $300, 3rd $200 and 4th $100, while the final 8 play one more 18 hold match narrowing the field to 4.

On Sunday, the 28 players who have been eliminated play another 18 hole round of random draw doubles for the same payouts as the day before, while the final 4 play two, back-to-back 18 hole matches for the following payouts:
