The 26th Cornwall Classic// Open and Advanced men& women

The 26th Cornwall Classic will be held in Bellingham's Cornwall Park on Sept 24th and 25th. This event is being brought to you by the members of Whatcom county disc golf club in conjunction with the city of Bellingham and its Parks department.
Last year was a fantastic success with over 100 golfers enjoying the competition and camaraderie, as well as our generously donated expanding Raffle provided some truly rare and unique items. This fundraiser supplies our community in a variety of ways such as coursework and matinence, putting in tee pads, basket repair, spreading woodchips, and work parties. This year we return to a 2-day format. Most amateur division players male or female will play 2 times around our 15-hole course made up of 9 original,2 practice, and 4 portable baskets. The addition of rope-circled " ponds", unique tee placements, and tone poll obstacles will create a great challenge for all skill levels.
Each golfer who registers before the 10th of Sept will receive a tournament tee shirt, in the event of size shortages or supply line problems, players will receive a club shirt or some kind of disc golf-related item of the T.Ds's choosing.
On Sunday, after the players complete their rounds we will have a fundraising raffle. Traditionally the prizes in the raffle are donated items from our sponsors and community. This year I all ready have 2 black hole portable disc golf baskets! If you have anything you would like to donate bring it to T.D the day of or sooner.
This is a TROPHY ONLY event for all players. There will be a modest cash payout for open divisions. the dollar amount is directly related to the # of players in those divisions.
there is an optional ace pot.
Remember to bring some extra $ for raffle tickets. the tickets will be 1$ apiece or 5$ for 6 tickets.
