About this tournament

Welcome to the Spring Smackdown! (Formerly the Summer Smackdown)

I'm moving the tournament to the spring as it's much easier to get the group camping and saves days of time in course prep with so much less growth. This will translate into a more enjoyable experience for players as well due to less lost/searching for discs, less aggressive temperatures etc.

This Wisconsin Disc Golf Tour event is a sanctioned PDGA B Tier at outstanding Big Eau Pleine County Park with new concrete pads on all the tees!

Pro and Advanced divisions compete Saturday playing blue then white tees.

Intermediate, Recreational, Juniors and others compete Sunday playing white then red tees.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF SOME CHANGES THIS YEAR

We are playing the standard 19 hole layout, no added silly 20th hole. That was an experiment I tried in 2022 and although I had nearly all positive feedback, I personally don't like the hole with the rest of the layout and don't see a point in keeping it.

Group camping is available free of charge! Donations are greatly appreciated as it costs a couple hundred dollars to reserve the course and the group site.

Additional personal campsites can be registered here:
