Welcome to the 2021 Professional Pittsburgh Flying Disc Open! The PFDO returns to the A-tier schedule in 2021 with three rounds over three days at the beautiful Moraine State Park Disc Golf Course, home of the 2015 Professional World Championships. Competitors will play one round each day with tee times starting bright and early at 8am.
As a PDGA sanctioned A-Tier, all minimum tour standards shall be met. All players must therefore be PDGA members. We are offering six divisions for the event; MPO, FPO, MP40, FP40, MP50, and FP50. A minimum of 8 competitors are required for the MP40, FP40, MP50, and FP50 divisions. If 8 players are not signed up in a division two weeks prior to the event, the two age protected divisions will be combined into MP40 and FP40. The combined divisions will not have a minimum player requirement.
Registration will open for all FPO, MP40, FP40, MP50, and FP50 divisions as well as MPO competitors with a rating above 1000 on May 11, 2021 at 7:00pm EST. MPO competitors with a rating above 970 will be able to register starting May 25, 2020 followed by open registration on June 8.
MPO and MP40 divisions will be playing from the gold (long) tee pads all three rounds while the FPO, FP40, MP50, and FP50 divisions will play from the blue (middle) tee pads for the entirety of the event. The pins will remain in the same location for all three rounds and will be set a minimum of one week prior to the event.
Any comments or questions may be directed to the tournament staff. We can’t wait to see you in September!
