The 2018 Chainsaw at Camp Cullom

About this tournament
Camp Cullom and the Wabash Disc Golf Club of Greater Lafayette are proud to present The 2018 Chainsaw! This Trophy Only C-Tier Charity fundraiser will be helping pay for new astroturf tee pads and other upgrades to the course at Camp Cullom.
The event will be trophy only for all AM divisions. Pro divisions will be competing for $20/player. The offered divisions will have trophies and CTP prizes available. Other divisions may be opened by request if at least 3 players request it but cannot be guaranteed a trophy or CTP prizes.
This event will be played using a "rolling" lunch. As groups pass by the Clubhouse (Hole 3 or 6) between 11:30am and 2:00pm they will stop, eat lunch (included in the entry and catered by Buttery Shelf Eatery), and return to the course when the group is ready. 30 minute maximum please, so bring your own lunch if you don't want the included lunch. If you have a dietary restriction please let us know by Thursday, 11/8 so we can make arrangements. DO NOT PLAN TO LEAVE CAMP FOR LUNCH. THERE IS NOTHING NEARBY AND GROUPS WILL NEED TO RETURN TO THE COURSE PROMPTLY TO FINISH BEFORE DARK. Groups will NOT be reordered for the second round.
This event is part of the PDGA Charity Endowment Program so there is no additional fee for non-PDGA members to play!

Layout for the 2018 Chainsaw:
Hole 1: Temp Hole. Tee off from inside the tunnel on the right side of normal Hole 1's fairway and throw to the practice basket. Shot will be about 175' to an circular island green with a 30' radius. If your shot doesn't come to rest on the island off the tee (long, short, over the island, still in the woods, whatever), go to a Drop Zone about 65' from the pin with a 1 stroke penalty. Come to rest off the island any other time and use regular OB rules.

Hole 24 Am to temp basket down the tunnel that heads toward the practice basket. This is actually going to be the permanent pin location for Hole 24.
There are a fair number of brush piles left from last year's timber harvest. All brush piles will be played as casual water. Play from where your disc lies or from any point directly away from the basket from where your disc came to rest.
