Invitation only. Field limited to 16. The first 16 invitations will be sent on Sunday, April 29th to the top 16 Michigan Match Play points^ earners who will have until May 31st to secure their spot. On June 1st, invitations will be sent to all other Match Play points earners and registration will continue until all spots are filled. The entry fee will be $50. $1,000 added cash! Payouts for the top 4 match play winners will be $400, $300, $200 & $100.
After two, back-to-back 12-hole match-play singles rounds (random draw, straight-up), the 12 players with 1-1 or 0-2 records will play one 18-hole round of random-draw doubles. Payouts for the top three doubles winners will be $300, $200, $100. (The remaining $200 of the pool will be used to pay each of the 8 who finish 1-1 after the first two match-play matches $25 for their match win).
^Players may earn Match Play points by participating in any of the MIDGC events for the 2011-12 season, Club Dead Travel League Match Play events (including the Club Dead Match-Play Shootout), and/or other events as sanctioned by the Michigan Match Play Association.
