Important Things to Remember

We are sharing the course with 2 other events. One is a preschool event at the pavilion. The Church has asked us not to you hole 1-7, the field, or the pavilion. Do not cross the bridge.

There is a track meet the same morning until 10 am or a little after. The course is closed to Disc Golfers until 10:20 am. Do not disregard this rule.

I will have 2 buckets in the football field if someone is willing to take them out. I will need someone to take them out and bring them back. If you’re able to help please let me know tomorrow morning.


Tee off at 10:30 am. Be at your hole by 10:20am. I will call 2 minutes at 10:28 unless there’s an issue. Wait for my signal.

Player packs can be picked up before the event starts from 9:30 am to 10:15am. After it starts I have so much going on I can’t stop to pull player packs, please stop by prior. Thanks! Ams, you get a disc and a shirt. Make sure you grab the size of shirt you selected at sign up.

Your card assignment can be found at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/72831 . After 7pm this evening.

If your hole assignment doesn’t show up, log out of the pdga website and back in. It should be to the left of our name. Your card is subject to change at the TD’s discretion. We can’t take requests, your card is your card. Please double check 15 minutes before tee off that your card hasn’t changed. It’s rare but happens.

Folks, I’ve put together a good event. It’s up to all of us to make it a great event. Lets be ambassadors to our sport and make tomorrow greatness.

Water- I’ll have a few cases at tournament central. Bring some or stop by and grab some. I will not have water on the course.

I’ll have the vend at Fall Creek in the morning. If you beat me there, please do not park by the practice basket.



Layouts

Please, pay attention to the hole order. We will be playing 8-17, then hole 19 through 27, after 27 you will do hole 18. Make sure you play this in order to avoid a misplay and strokes against your final score.


Round 1&2 Will share the same exact format.

All Mixed Pro divisions, MA1 and MA2 will play long pads on the following.
8-17, 19-27, 18




All Female Pro Divisions, Ma3, Ma4, Fa1, Fa2, Fa3, Ma40, Ma50, Ma60 will play short pads both rounds including the new short pads on hole 25 and 27.

Projected payouts can be found at the link below. Pro Payouts will arrive before Noon Tuesday. Am payouts are on site via our vend at the event.



Bags are not allowed in our vend. You’ll notice security cameras at our setup. I don’t like having to run them. I’m sure you probably don’t like being on them. We have dealt with an extreme amount of theft and have to mitigate it. Please, don’t smoke in or near the vend either.


Scoring

A. We will be using PDGA Live scoring as our official scoring for this event. 2 players may keep score with the live app now. We encourage you to do this. You can access this by visiting www.pdga.com/score the event password is HCO2023

In the rare event your card mate doesn’t show up and you only have 2 players on your card, one player will join the card in front of you, one will join the card behind you. I doubt this will be an issue but be prepared just in case.

BEFORE you leave the course, verify your score with your card mates and sign off on it in the app. Every player on the card needs to verify score and sign off. Failure to do so will result in rule 808 F being enforced.

Please, pay attention to your speed of play. We have a full house tomorrow.
