BROCK GOLD / BROCK MOD RULES -

GENERAL RULES (both courses) :
- No 2 meter rule
- Water in all creeks and ponds is OB.
- Over and beyond any fence is OB.

BROCK GOLD RULES:
HOLE 1 - Mando right of marked tree
HOLE 8 - 2 Mandos, right of marked trees
HOLE 10 - double mando. Must pass between 2 marked trees
HOLE 11 - 2 Mandos, left of marked trees
HOLE 13 - Mando right of marked tree
HOLE 16- sidewalk and beyond is OB
HOLE 17 - Sidewalk and beyond is OB
HOLE 18 - Tee box is in-bounds island. Disc must come to rest on island green or go to DZ. All subsequent shots play traditional OB rules. ALL players have the option to proceed directly to DZ with 2 stroke penalty

BROCK MOD RULES:
HOLE 1 - Tee box is in-bounds island. Disc must cross in-bounds territory or re-tee. Path and beyond left is OB
HOLE 8 - Mando right of marked tree
HOLE 18 - Tee box is in-bounds island. Disc must come to rest on island green or go to DZ. All subsequent shots play traditional OB rules. ALL players have the option to proceed directly to DZ with 2 stroke penalty






Houston Flying Disc Society, Houston Disc Golf and Gorilla Disc Golf have the honor of bringing the Texas State Championships back to Houston as a DGPT Silver event and an A Tier for Pro-Age and Ams !!!

Newly constructed Brock Park will be the States event HQ. Brock Gold (temp) will host MPO and a modified Brock (permanent) will host FPO, Pro Age and MA1/40

Brock Gold is a 10,400ft par 63 MONSTER.
Brock Mod is approx 8,000ft par 59.
(both only up for a couple days leading up to and including this event)
*They will remain marked, but only go back up with baskets a week or so prior to States.


This event will preview the those two courses. For many, outside of MPO, this will be your only chance to play this course in a competitive setting.

THE PARKING LOT WILL BE OPEN AND WE HAVE FULL ACCESS FOR THIS EVENT.

DETAILS:
ALL PLAYERS PLAY EACH COURSE ONCE
2 rounds of 18 holes.
9:00 am tee off.
1 hour between rounds for lunch for each pool.

Entry fee breakdown-
NO PLAYERS PACKS
$2 PDGA
$5 admin/parks fee (we have incurred a significant fee to use the park)
ALL OTHER $ GOES TO PAYOUTS

Overall caps supersede divs caps in some divisions

Division caps will be lifted 72 hours after registration opens. Disregard div caps after this.
Open spots will then be populated on 3 criteria-
1) Pools and available spots in appropriate divisions to fill cards of 4
2) Order of waitlist registration
3) Similar skill level

-Players should be at their starting holes at least 10 min BEFORE the 9:00am start time.
in the case a player does not show to your card, make sure you have AT LEAST 3 -PLAYERS on the card. In the event you do not, one player will go to a forward card, one player back OR grab a player from an adjacent 4 card.
-ANY PLAYERS THAT DO NOT SHOW WILL BE SCORED "par+4" on each hole.

Gorilla DG is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
GDG refund policy- $5 processing fee
Refunds should be requested through the confirmation email.
GDG will refund any player in full (minus registration fees) if requested by email more than 72hrs before the start of event check-in.
GDG will refund any player in full (minus reg fees) up to 24hrs before check-in ONLY IF we can fill the spot.
ALL drops within 24 hours of the event- players will receive entry fee value in merchandise at vendors convenience.
No shows forfeit entry fees.
