About this tournament
1 round of play
This event is open to any college or university students at schools of Higher Education. This event will qualify (3) teams for the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships that will be held at the Hippodrome in Augusta, GA April 15th-18th 2015.
Teams may consist of 1 to 4 players and a school may have more than one team represented. Please register as an Advanced Man or Woman and include your school name. Discounted PDGA fees are in effect for non-members.
The Texas Collegiate Team Championship will consist of a singles round and a doubles round Saturday. Sunday will be Team Match Play based on Saturdays rankings.
The Texas team with the highest point total will win the 2014 Texas Collegiate Title.
*The Top 3 teams will qualify for the National Collegiate Championship. A team's school must be registered with the NCDGC to be eligible for the qualifying Nationals spots, but not for the Texas Collegiate Title.
There will be Individual Male and Female Collegiate State Champions crowned based on the singles portion of the event.
NEW FOR 2014-There will be a non-sanctioned alumni tournament to coincide with this event open to all former college graduates. This event will consist of two rounds of Singles on Saturday, October 25th. Please register as an Open Player, include your graduating institution and mark PDGA current to avoid the $5 fee that doesn't apply to the non-sanctioned portion. Trophy and prizes will be awarded.
