Tenney Mountain has a long history of disc golf, going back to 1977 when one the first courses in America was built right along the lower trails of the mountain. Ed Headrick, widely considered the founder of disc golf, lists Tenney Mountain as one of the original courses in the country, and an “official frisbee sanctuary”. The course was recently redesigned in 2023 by course designer Matt Albee.
Our course includes a good mix of wooded and open disc golf holes, and varied terrain that will take you up, down, and across the lower trails of Tenney Mountain. The front 9 holes begin right off the back deck of the Backcountry Bar & Grill and span across the lower trails of the Eclipse Triple side of the mountain. The back 9 spans across the Hornet Double side of the mountain, offering spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding area. The course features stone dust tee pads and Mach VII targets for a smooth game.
The Backcountry Bar & Grill will be open on Friday and Saturday night from 4:00 - 10:00 PM. Stop in after your round to grab some drinks and food!
