But, with so much disc golf going on it's not surprising this event has gone under the radar..
Sooo, due to current low numbers we have made some pretty epic changes to get you folk, who are on the fence, here in two weekends time. Don’t be “that guy” that heard about it later and wished they had gone.
FIRSTLY
- Course layouts have been tuned to this already amazing ball golf / disc golf course. The new hybrid 18 hole event course mixes holes from the permanent Pro and Am layouts giving players simply the best disc golf that this mind blowing course has to offer.
- Schedule has been streamlined to make it easier to spend time with family (or play more disc golf) over the weekend. All wrapped up by 12.30pm Sunday.
- Upgraded Recreation Option. This is for those that can’t commit to three rounds of 18 on the tough (for some) event layout. This option takes the oomph out whilst still letting you enjoy disc golf over two days.

Our mates at @DiscShopNZ are putting their money where their mouth is.
- Any entries will now go in the draw for a “walk to course tiny house accomodation package for two valued at over $300.
- If you don't win that, to encourage you to stay in the area for Friday and Saturday, they are also going to subsidise your accomodation by $20 per person ($10 per night). Accomodation is LITERALLY across the road and there is options for camping, cabins and more.
- Donation to the Hawke’s Bay Disc Golf club. For every person who enters DS will give $10 ($10!) to the club for future course upgrades and course maintenance and all things moving forward (*up to 50 people ????)

Sunday morning - Sleep in til 10am then redemption on yesterdays 9 holes. Such a fun course!

We are stoked to bring you the Hawke's Bay stop on the NZ Disc Golf Tour, at the spectacular Te Pohue Disc Golf Park! YEAH we know there was wind last time BUT early March is typically calmer than October in terms of wind.
This permanent course, designed in 2022 by the experienced Disc Shop course team, is located on SH5 just forty-five minutes from Napier, or an hour and twenty minutes from Taupo. It is set amongst the stunning rural backdrop on the groomed fairways of the Te Pohue Golf Club and is right up there with the top few courses in NZ!
We highly recommend staying nearby to fully enjoy the event hospitality and minimise travel times and costs. There is already a few of us camping at the campground across the road so come and join us for a weekend to remember,

Hawkes Bay Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
REFUND POLICY
100% refund (excluding transaction and DG Scene fees) will be issued for anyone pulling out before 8pm on Friday 14th of February 2025.
50% refund (excluding transaction and DG Scene fees) will be issued for anyone pulling out before 8pm on Friday 21st of February 2025.
Any withdrawals after 8pm Wednesday 26th February will not be eligible for any refund.
Players may transfer their entry to another person if there is no one on the waitlist.
Waitlist players which do not gain entry to the event will receive their full refund, less dgscene and paypal fees.
All optional "ADD ONS" are non refundable (excluding lunch & Ace Kitty).
All Refunds will be processed post event
