About this tournament
Welcome to the 2023 Tater Town Throwdown!
Last year, Oakwood DGC at Snider Park in Gleason, Tennessee leveled up into a full 18-hole course, and a bunch of you came out to help us break it in in the snow. In the hope for better weather this year, we've moved the Throwdown forward on the calendar a little bit. Veteran baskets have been installed on the back 9 and Luke and Chad assure me that the course is looking fabulous!
For those who haven't yet visited Oakwood, head to the community center at 506 N Cedar St in Gleason, where you will find the entrance to the park. Follow the road beside the Community Center to the big parking lot by the playground.
This event will be a PDGA C Tier utilizing a two-round, shotgun-start format, and limited to 72 total competitors.
Pro Entry: $70 | Am Entry: $45 ($5 Ace Pool Entry optional at time of registration. There will be a 50/50 CTP on the field during Round 2. If no aces are hit during competition, the winner of that CTP will take half the ace pot, and the other half will be donated to the Oakwood DGC course fund.)
Players Pack for all Amateur competitors, and 100% payout for all divisions
(merchandise payout for amateur divisions available on-site, provided by Dynamic Discs Music City).
1st-3rd Place trophies for all divisions with at least three players registered by 8/26/23.
There will be a mandatory players meeting at Tournament Central (DD RV) at 8:30am, and Round 1 will begin at 9:00am. Round 2 will begin one hour after the last Round 1 scores are finalized, and awards will be distributed at Tournament Central following the completion of Round 2.

Refund policy
Dynamic Discs Music City is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. We will be following the PDGA refund policy: https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103. All withdrawals will be subject to a $10 processing fee.
