About this tournament
Help Support Tournament Director Bill Newman and Team Throw Pink for the 6th Anniversary of the Throw Pink Doubles Charity Disc Golf Tournament.
Throw Pink is a collection of Disc Golf events across the country with the purpose of encouraging women and girls to get out and be more physically active. The Program was established to make a difference for women’s health initiatives, specifically breast cancer. First founded in 2013, today has evolved into running tournaments and disc golf promotions for all aspects of women’s health and encouragement though physical activity.
We are reaching out to our local community and asking for your help in supporting this cause. We have been working locally with – Support Connection – an organization based in Yorktown Heights, that provides Breast and Ovarian Cancer Support. Last year, in 2021 we raised and donated over $7,000 and this year we have a goal to reach over 8k! We would be grateful to you for supporting us in any capacity that is feasible. There are several ways in which you can support us, which I have outlined on the registration page.
If you are in a position to help support the growth of women’s disc golf and women’s health initiatives, please contact us, and get involved. Feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions or concerns.
