About this tournament

This is a Disc Golf Bring Your Own Doubles Event to support the family and recovery of Isaiah Carrasco. Isaiah very recently got into an accident that he is fighting to recover from. To show support/help with the recovery process we will be using this event to help pay some of the hospital bills that have come from this. Come have some fun and support Isaiah and his family.
Why is "Swag Money" in the event name?
"Swag Money" is the Nickname given to Isaiah after he took Nicholas Masters' Money on a CTP on one of his first times playing. His swagger on the tee and his natural athletic ability earned him the name. We felt it was appropriate given this a disc golf event with some shenanigans.
Where is my entry money going?
If you are playing the BYOP Dubs then your entry is $20 a team, or $10 a person. $15 of the $20 from each team goes to Isaiah and the remaining $5 goes to Deerfield Country Club for letting us run the event at the facility.
If you are signing up for the BYOP Corn Hole Tournament then it is $10 a team or $5 a person. Each and every dollar from this goes to support Isaiah and his family.
Where and what is BYOP Dubs?
Bring Your Own Partner Doubles is best shot doubles with your choice of partner. Bring your best bud out and support Isaiah Carrasco at the beautiful Deerfield Country Club. which is located at 54002 Deerfield Country Club Rd, Callahan, FL 32011. The Course features a bar, ball golf course, and disc golf course. We would reccomend going out and getting some practice in before the event. (After the grand opening to the public.) Prizes for the BYOP Dubs will be Disc Golf Swag donated by our amazing disc golf family.
What is this BYOP Corn Hole Tournament all about?
Bring Your Own Partner and come enjoy some Corn Hole in the competitive style of bracket style double elimination. If you lose twice you are out. That simple. We will be running this event after we play the BYOP Dubs. You sign up by clicking the "BYOP Corn Hole Tournament" option while you are registering for the event. The option to sign up is towards the end of the registration process. *Please add your partners name in the notes. $5 per a person $10 a team. ALL money goes to the Carrasco family. Prizes for people who place will be disc golf swag donated by the amazing people in our disc golf family.
What if I want to come but not play in the event?
If you wish to come support Isaiah but not play the event please still sign up. Please sign up for the division that says, "Just Coming To Support Isaiah" and it will not charge you. We just need a head count for food and for the golf course to know how many are coming.
RAFFLE!!!
There will be a raffle the day of for some awesome disc golf items! Payment for the raffle will be taken day of the tourney. With either cash or paypal.
Shenanigans...
Would it be a Disc Golf event in Jacksonville without shenanigans? The correct answer is no. We will have Mulligans and Isaiah Beamers available for purchase day of the event.
-$1 each Mulligan. $5 for 6. Cap of 18 per a team. Can only use 1 Mulligan per a hole.
-$1 each Isaiah Beamer or $5 for 6. Cap of 18 per a team. Can only use 1 Beamer per a hole.
Mulligans are an extra stroke allowed after a poor shot, not counted on the scorecard.
Isaiah Beamers are the same concept as golf balls being used, but instead they are baseballs. Inspired by Isaiah's passion for baseball we felt this was only fitting for the event. The idea is you throw a ball that is not worth any strokes when used, but can advance any lie without adding a stroke. The catch is you can't use it to hole out. An example would be if you're in a very tough spot in the woods and you need to get out and save par or get the birdie. You can opt to throw the Isaiah Beamer to land safely in the fairway without adding a stroke to your score. Each team will be given one baseball for the round. Since each team can only use one per a hole you will have one personal ball. The Baseballs will be provided. If you have a bucket of them and would like to help provide them please contact us.

Food will be provided! Thank you Bob Satter for providing the food for the event, and Brad Price and Divot Page for cooking it up! There will be a donation jar at the front of the food line and all money from it will go directly to help Isaiah.
