As with tradition, the Mini-Canyon Matinee will use the existing permanent 9 holes at The Quarry Golf Course in addition to 11 additional temporary holes designed in the adjacent Tom Varn Park.
This year's event is also a qualifier for the 2017 National Collegiate Disc Golf Championship. College teams will be competing for a spot in the Championship in Augusta GA next April. College players will play (2) Rounds of 20 Holes, singles format, on Saturday and (1) Round of 20 Holes, doubles format, on Sunday.
Non-Collegiate players will play (2) Rounds of 20 Holes, singles format, on Saturday and can opt in to play Doubles on Sunday morning but in a separate pool of players.

Entry Fees/Players Pack
All divisions have an Entry Fee of $53, which will include a $2 PDGA Fee, $5 donation to St. Leo College Disc Golf Team and a $6 Park Use Fee. All Amateurs will receive a players pack, valued at a minium of $30, will include a Discraft Cryztal disc (player chooses mold) valued at $18, a Sun King stamped Cryztal Mini Buzzz valued at $10 and a Discraft Sticker, valued at $3 plus other items.
This event is also a fundraiser for the Disc Golf Team for St. Leo College. $5 from each entry will be donated to the team to help cover travel expenses for the team to compete at the Championship.

Event T-Shirt/CFR Disc/Hole Sponsorship
Players may opt in to purchase an official event performance t-shirt for $12 (additional charges for larger sizes). Any ladies that order a shirt will receive a ladies cut shirt. Players also have two different options for supporting the tournament. The most common is purchasing a Innova Champion Fund Raiser (CFR) disc. Players receive a 20% discount ($4.00) when they purchase a CFR disc during registration. The choices for this event will be announced soon. The other way is to purchase a Hole Sponsorship for $20. Hole Sponsors will receive a CFR disc and a sign on the course during the event.
