Players across ALL SKILL LEVELS, especially new players or those just looking to have a good time!
FORMAT & COURSE LAYOUT
(2) Rounds of 18 holes, one throw per hole per player (players can opt in for mulligans). Holes are generally between 100 and 180 feet.
ENTRY FEE
$30 + $5.35 Greens Fee for Non Members.
PLAYERS PACKAGE
2019 is Race the Classics! In honor of Discraft's 40th Anniversary they've decided to do something special; they brought back three discs that are longer in production and remade them for the first time in a premium plastic, specifically for the Ace Race! Because this event is in September, the players pack will feature the Hawk, an old school mid-range flyer. (August was the Eclipse and October is the Wildcat)
In addition to the 2 discs, players will receive a drawstring backpack, sport bottle, towel, snap cap mini and stickers; all of this is included with your entry fee!
Players can opt in to purchase a moisture-wicking sport tee shirt (100% polyester) with the event art work (see pictures).
RULES OF PLAY
One division for all players. Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the package. Only one throw per player per hole, but players can purchase mulligans (use up to 6 per round). All players should have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces (a hole-in-one) and "M" for holes on which they hit metal basket and above, pole doesn't count).
After all players in the group have thrown, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee, there are no upshots or putting. The players closest to the basket will receive a token which will enter them into a prize drawing.
Players keep their scorecards for round two, using the next line on the card to record the round.
The player with the most aces after 36 holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tie breaker. The secondary tie breaker will be M2 metal hits which are metal hits scored on a mulligan shot. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then used to determine the event winner.

Grand Prize: Tournament backpack, SuperColor winners disc, towel and mini.
2nd Place: 3 discs, towel and mini.
3rd Place: 1 disc, towel and mini.
BREAKFAST/LUNCH
The Denton Family Deli is located directly in front of the Sun King Pro Shop and will be serving breakfast and lunch during the event. They will be taking pre-orders for lunch as well.
19th HOLE POOL PARTY
Feel free to come hang out after the event at the 19th Hole and enjoy the shade and the swimming pool! Light snacks & refreshments will be available but BYO: Swim wear, towels and adult beverages!
