About this tournament

The 4th annual Summer Thumber presented by DGA will take place on August 4th, 2018 at Lagoon Valley in Vacaville and Skyline Wilderness Park in Napa. This year's tournament beneficiary will be the Boys & Girls Club of Sonoma. See below for more info about this great, local organization..
"Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley (BGCSV) is a non-profit organization that has served youth between the ages of 6 and 18 years since 1955. We are part of a national movement that began in 1860 and now serves over 4.8 million youth in over 4,000 Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. Our Mission is to provide positive opportunities for youth to learn and succeed. We aim to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. As part of our mission, we provide our members with a wide array of enrichment activities in a safe and structured environment during after-school hours."

Same as last year, this fundraiser BYOP (bring your own partner) doubles event will feature play on TWO courses- one round of Best Shot format at Lagoon Valley (27 holes) followed by a round of Best Shot on the original course at Napa followed by 9 holes of Alternate Shot on the lower course. Event logo discs will be given out via player's packs this year (included in the registration fee). As always, we will have an optional Ace Pot, CTP prizes, and a sweet raffle (Zuca cart, DGA baskets & more..) following the final round. This year, we will be returning to our previous format of CASH PAYOUTS FOR ALL DIVISIONS! There will be a $5/player late fee added for day-of sign-up. Field is capped at 108 players or 54 teams.
Looking forward to a disc golf filled day where we can give back by doing something we love.. See everyone out there!
