About this tournament
The Summer Sizzle is a 1-day, 2-round, PDGA-sanctioned, Pro C-tier and Amateur B-tier tournament at the Brown County Country Club (BC3 Disc Golf) on Sunday, June 12, 2021. This event showcases Indiana's #1 rated golf course during the summer catalpa blooms (fingers crossed) on hole #22.
We play all 24 holes at BC3 in both rounds. The Players Notes with layout details, rules, and information will be sent to everyone before the event, and has all details needed to check-in, play, and record scores.
Amateurs receive a BC3-embroidered FlexFit Delta hat in your choice of size/color as a gift for playing!
All players, of course, will receive a warm BC3 welcome and robust tournament amenities including use of the clubhouse, restrooms, ample trash containers, parking, complimentary refreshments and snack carts.
Please note that if you are not a current PDGA member, a $10 fee will be added to your registration. This fee is assessed by, and paid to, the PDGA.
BC3 Members can receive a $5 discount on their registration fee. Contact Steve for your discount code.
Pro payouts will be above PDGA C-tier guidelines. Amateurs payouts will be above B-tier guidelines.
Optional Ace Fund - $5 entry fee/player for the day. Fund pays out 100% to anyone hitting an ace. If multiple aces are hit, fund is divided equally among each. If no ACE is hit, throw off occurs on hole #4 Red tee to #4 basket with 60% payout to CTP player, and 40% to 2nd CTP player.
Optional 50/50 CTP Fund - $5 entry fee/player for the day. Fund pays 50% to the winning player (hole #5 from Red tee & hole #1 from the blue tee). The other 50% goes to support the Brown County (Bro Co) Disc Golf Club.
We offer a wide variety of divisions during registration, but we plan to run divisions with a minimum of 3 players. If you register and your division doesn’t fill, you’ll get the choice of moving into another division that you qualify for, or a full refund.

Refund policy
BC3 Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Full refund will be provided for cancellations up to 48 hours prior to the start of the event. After that, only a 50% refund will be provided.
