Summer Sessions Opener '24
About this tournament
Our semi-weekly tournament kicks off with our Summer Session Opener, Sunday 4/7.
The field will be split into four co-ed divisions [Open, Advanced1, Advanced2, & Advanced3] and non-members should anticipate an additional five dollars [$5] to play. Otherwise, registration includes greens fees, division buy-in/payout, and CTPs for each round.
Respective '24 league bag tags will be awarded at the conclusion of both rounds with #1 thru #10 reserved first for the Open Division. Further eligibility/priority then continues in ascending order relative to scores but pending relative division restrictions [ie. tag #s are to be awarded first by division and then by subsequent score]. Additionally, tie breaks go to the more advanced registrant [ie. ADV1 wins tie for league tag over ADV2 with same scores].

• $20 Advanced 1 [ADV1]
• $20 Advanced 2 [ADV2]
• $20 Advanced 3 [ADV3]
Open and ADV1 divisions play Course-B in the first round and then Course-A for round two. Meanwhile the ADV2 players will alternate courses by playing round one from the even numbered holes on Course-B and the odd numbered holes on Course-C, then in the second round play the odd numbered holes on Course-A and the even numbered holes on Course-C. And ADV3 players will play both rounds from Course-C.
Cash payouts to be determined by the level of attendance and based on percentages relative to division sizes.
The Ace Pot remains optional for $1 [or $2 for non-members] and after carrying over what remained from last year's $430 will be available from the blue tees only [A & B]. And if by the end of the day there are no aces hit it'll be made available twice each week during our regularly scheduled summer league rounds [Wednesdays & Sundays]. Another Ace Pot for Course-C, separate from the aforementioned [A/B], will also be offered optionally for those that are eligible and interested. And if it remains unclaimed that day then it too will be kept available for just the white tees [C-courses] each session. To be collected at check-in so bring cash.

With enough interest we can coordinate a group effort to have MrSippys's cater between rounds but otherwise lunch will not likely be served so bring your own. And the second round will go out from the trailer/bus roughly 45 mins after the last group finishes from the first round. We'll then finish back at the kiosk/parking area where final tags & other winnings will be awarded.
Registration will open February 1st for the first 72 competitors that sign-up, and entries on the day of the event will depend upon availability [until 8:30am]. Also, day-of registrants shall anticipate an additional $5 fee, which will go back into payouts.

League rounds gather every Wednesday [@5pm] & Sunday [@1pm] until the Fall Finale Invitational in October, whereby '24 tag members have a spot reserved to register in the end of the season event.
LEAGUE TAG - $20:
○ There's no weekly entry fees for players with a current SFDGC '24 league tag. However, those without a current league tag should expect a $2 entry fee per session. And although tags are not required to play each week they do allow for additional buy-in benefits [ie. Ace Pot & CTP entries at half the cost and discounted rates during the off season].
○ Tags are available throughout the year and they can be tested whenever and wherever there's another SFDGC tag. Get them onsite [by appointment] or from our online store to be picked up. Preorders before April 1st also come with a free SFDGC sticker.
