About this tournament

Summer Melee at Rum Village is a PDGA C-Tier singles event. Two rounds of 24 holes at Rum Village DGC in South Bend, IN.
We will be using PDGA Live scoring for this event.
Each group will also have a paper scorecard as a backup to the digital application.
PLAYERS PACK FOR EVERY REGISTERED PLAYER
Players pack will included one tournament stamped Discraft disc, tournament stamped mini, and a custom club towel.
Ctp's or longest putt on every hole first round.
Lunch will also be provided by Ecig-Works, check out one of their 5 Michiana locations for all your vaping needs. https://www.ecig-works.com/
Water and Ice provided by Hop Station Craft Bar, check them out for the best selection of craft beer in Michiana!! https://www.facebook.com/HopStationCraftBar
Optional Ace Fund and 50/50 Cash CTP. (50/50 CTP will be Round 2)
There will be additional disc and swag up for grabs via a raffle at the end of the event, all proceeds going towards the park. $2 for 1 ticket or 6 tickets for $10. Cash preferred.
This is a TRUE AMATEUR EVENT-Trophy Only to the top 3 finishers in all divisions
All proceeds that do not go into the tournament and players pack will go directly back into Rum Village DGC for new baskets!! The South Bend parks department has secured a $5000 match towards the new baskets!!
Don't see your division? Email us to get it added-Must be at least 3 players to have the division. If there are not at least the minimal number of players you will have the option in playing in another competing division.
Players are expected to be on their assigned tee for the start of the second round 60 minutes after the completion of the first round.
No cashless registration. No walk-ups.
Refund policy:
St. Joseph Valley DGC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Players who officially request to withdraw prior to June 24th, 2022 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $5 handling fee.
Players who officially request to withdraw between June 25th and July 1st, 2022 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $5 handling fee ONLY if there spot can be filled from the waitlist. If the player's spot is NOT filled through the waitlist the player will receive a 50% cash refund.
Players who officially request to withdraw from the event between July 2nd and July 7th, 2022 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $5 fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through the waitlist. If the player's spot is NOT filled, we will provide a 25% cash refund.
Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from playing in the event, do not show up for the event, or try to withdraw after July 7th, 2022 forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player pack. Rounds and divisions are set using the registration list as of this date, so there are no exceptions to this rule. If you have questions please contact the tournament director.
