Welcome to the Sudbury Match Play Series
Participants will compete in a pseudo double elimination bracket to determine determine A and B pool champions
This event will consist of 5 rounds (16 player bracket) over 5 months at Twin Stacks. Matches will be played on the red layout on the last Thursday of the month at 6pm. The dates in the fall will move to Sunday at 4pm.
If for some unforeseeable reason a match cannot be completed on the schedule date, opponents may complete round at an alternate time (must be communicated with the event organizers and not a regular occurrence
-this is not a flex start)
If the 16 player cap is reached we will consider increasing the event cap to 24 if there are sufficient numbers on the waitlist to fill the event.

May 28 6pm:
Seeding round- all participants will play a normal scoring round and scores will be used to seed players for the initial tournament bracket
June 25 6pm:
Round 1: players will be paired with their corresponding opponent and play 1 round of match play. Scores do not matter, players will record who wins each hole. The player who wins the most holes wins their match and advanced through their current (A) bracket. The losing player to be moved the B bracket.
July 29 6pm:
Round 2: Players will be paired their corresponding opponent in each match play bracket. Winners will advance in their corresponding bracket. Losing players will be moved the A or B consolation pool.
August 27 6pm:
Players will be paired their corresponding opponent in each match play bracket. Winners will advance to the Finals in their corresponding bracket. Losing players will be moved the A or B consolation pool.
Sunday September 27 4pm:
Players will be paired with their opponent and compete in the final (16 players; or semifinal for 24 players) round of match play.
Sunday October 11 4pm:
Finals if we have a 24 player bracket only
