About this tournament
2 rounds of play
After a 4 year hiatus, the Sudbury Disc Golf Club is excited to announce that the Sudbury Ace Race is back! Always a fan favourite, the Sudbury Ace Race includes our famous Mini Ace Race within the Ace Race!
- Your player's pack includes 2 of Discraft's prototype discs, and other Discraft goodies.
- Whether you're a seasoned player or a novice, the Sudbury Ace Race is a fun event for all to enjoy! The course gets shortened so that each hole is between approximately 75 - 150 feet. Each player gets 2 attempts on each hole to throw an ace, using your 2 discs. We play 2 rounds with an hour for lunch in between.
- Unlike a regular tournament, no numbers are recorded on your scorecard. You record an "A" if you throw an Ace, and an "M" if you hit Metal (chains, pole, basket). The winner is determined by whoever gets the most Aces. If a tie occurs, the Metal hits are used to break the tie. If there is still a tie, we'll have a CTP throw-off with one disc.
- Other fun events includes a Raffle and Ring of Fire!
- We hope to see you bring your "Ace Face" to the 10th Sudbury Ace Race! :)
