Stafford Disc Golf Club Triples Fundraiser!
Join us on April 4th for a unique triples event to benefit the Stafford Disc Golf Club! Whether you’re a local pro or a casual player, grab your crew and let's help improve our home courses.
Event Details
• When: April 4th, check-in by 8:45, 9:00 start
• Cost: $60 per team ($20/person)
• Fundraiser: $5 from every player goes directly to the Stafford County Disc Golf Club.
• Ace Pot: $2per person $6 per team (optional).
• Mulligans: optional $5.00 per mulligan Limit 3 per team (purchase day of event)
Divisions & Payouts
Teams will be split into two divisions based on combined PDGA ratings at the time of registration:
1 Lower Division: Combined rating of 2700 and below.
2 Upper Division: Combined rating of 2701 and above.
• Cash payouts for all divisions based on PDGA guidelines.
⚙️ The Format: “Captains Choice”
This is a strategic triples format that keeps everyone on their toes:
• The Drive: All 3 players tee off.
• The Approach/Putt: Once a lie is chosen, the player who threw that shot sits out the next throw.
• The Cycle: Only the two remaining players throw from the chosen lie. This continues until the disc is in the basket.
• Basically: If your shot is used, you don't throw the next one!
Registration Process (Important!)
To ensure smooth course flow and avoid "9-person tee boxes," we are handling registration differently:
1 Waitlist Only: All sign-ups will go directly to the waitlist initially.
2 Promotion: We will promote teams from the waitlist in groups of two to ensure cards of 6 players.
3 Ratings: Your team's division is locked in based on your PDGA ratings at the time of sign-up.
