About this tournament

Announcing the 2025 Stadium Field Putting Party! This will be a putter-only tournament held on the campus of Parkersburg High School. This course is designed to contain both fun and tricky disc golf shots around the outside of the school, as well as the inside of the football stadium.
Players pack will include a mini disc with the tournament logo, 5 free raffle tickets to our table of raffle items, and other items donated by the community. Winner of each division will receive a custom trophy made by the PHS ceramics class and a disc donated by Appalachian Disc Golf. 2nd place will also receive a disc donated by ADG.
We will have an optional $1 Ace Fund (with some added cash to it). An ace will take the pot. If there are multiple aces, it will be split. If no ace, a CTP will decide the winner.
We also will have a Closest to the Pin Challenge from the top of the bleachers to the middle of the football field. Winner in each division will receive a prize pack of random donated items.
There will be a table with raffle prizes donated by the community. We will sell tickets at the event, $1/ea or 6/$5 or an arms length/$10.
The proceeds from this year’s tournament will go towards helping to raise funds for the Mid-Ohio Valley Intramural Disc Golf League (MOVIDGL). This league, consisting of six teams from local schools, started in the Spring of 2025. The money raised from this event will go towards purchasing equipment for schools in need so that more students are able to learn about the sport, secure official PDGA numbers for all members of the league, and help fund the prizes and awards at their end of season party. We want disc golf to grow in our community and the MOVIDGL is the best way to do it. The students from each of the schools will be competing during this event as well as a part of their weekly schedule, so give them some encouragement if you see them playing.
With the even taking place at PHS, we also try to give back to the school as well. For each item you bring as a donation to the PHS Care Closet, you are awarded 1 mulligan (up to 10 mulligans). Mulligans can be used on any shot, not just tee shots
Items requested for donation include:
-Super Tampons (1 box = 5 mulligans)
-Hanes Sweatshirts/Sweatpants (sizes S-XL) (1 set = 5 mulligans)
-Or you can pay $1 per mulligan with this money going to the Care Closet
This is the perfect event for anyone interested in the sport, regardless of experience. Every year we have a blast putting on this tournament, and we look forward to seeing you there!
Reminder: this course is played throughout PHS’ campus, so your putter may take a beating from concrete in several areas. Please choose your disc wisely.
