About this tournament

The Spoonwood Classic will be played on the Spoonwood Ridge course.
The Spoonwood Classic is officially full.
There is NO refund for the $10 wait-list fee, but if there is a dropout, we will only charge the remaining balance for the tournament fee.
WAIT LIST POLICY: FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE
IN THE CASE OF A DROPOUT PRIOR TO THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT, THE TD WILL CALL THE FIRST PLAYER ON THE WAIT LIST. THE TD WILL THEN TO PROCEED TO CALL THE PLAYER 3 TIMES TOTAL IN ORDER TO REACH THAT PLAYER. UPON THE FIRST CALL THE TD WILL LEAVE A MESSAGE AND CALL BACK 2 MORE TIMES WITHIN AN HOUR. IF THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM THE PLAYER THE TD WILL PROCEED DOWN THE WAIT LIST TO THE NEXT PLAYER.
DAY OF DROP OUT SPOTS WILL BE AWARDED TO THE PLAYERS IN ORDER OF THE WAIT LIST AND WHO ARE IN ATTENDANCE AT THE END OF THE REGISTRATION AT 8:45 AM ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
REGISTERED PLAYERS WHO SHOW UP AFTER 8:45 AM, WHEN REGISTRATION CLOSES, WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PLAY IN THE EVENT
***This will be a "True Amateur Event" (There will be trophies only for Am players and each Am will receive a player pack valued at $56). Please give us feedback after the event so we can analyze this decision and adjust as necessary.
All Pros will play the White Layout both rounds.
All ams will play the Red Layout 1st round.
MA1 will play White layout second round
All other Am divisions will play from the red tees both rounds
All players will pay $5 for greens fees
All pre registered players will have free access to the NEDGC from the Saturday before the event for practice rounds included in tournament fees.
Official course layouts will be finalized for the Sunday league prior to the event date

Refund policy
New England Disc Golf Center is responsible for all refunds/cancelations.
A. Players must directly email or phone their withdrawals to the Tournament Director at the contact information posted for the tournament in order to satisfy an official request.
B. Players who officially request to withdraw from the event at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $10 handling fee.
C. Players who officially request to withdraw from the event 15 to 29 days before
the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund minus $10 handling fee only if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or walk up entry . If the player's spot is not filled, the TD has the choice to provide either a 50% cash refund or just the player's pack the player would received if they had attended minus cost of shipping. Pros will receive 50 % of entry fee.
D. Players who officially request to withdraw from the event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the events published closure of registration will recieve 25% of entry fee or players pack only (minus shipping cost). Pros will receive a 25% cash refund .
E. Players who do not officially request to withdraw from the event prior to the published closure of registration and don't play forfeit their entry fee with no player's pack and no refund,
