Space Race in the Hills is back for 2024! This event will be held in similar fashion to last year’s. First, this is designed to be a fun night of glow disc golf with lit baskets the night before Thanksgiving! It will be a points-based “Ace Race,” 1 pt for a metal hit and 3 pts for an ace, and will include several CTP challenges, as well an optional ace pot. Winners will receive discs / swag subject to what is included in the Space Race order. The event will start 30 min earlier than last year in attempt to complete 2 full rounds on this short, ace-able course. Some holes will have modified tee areas to ensure a chance of acing every hole. The two discs that are included in the players pack (Full Eclipse Crave and Range) will both be thrown off the tee, giving players a theoretical 72 chances to ace! Players will be split into several groups starting at different holes with the goal of finishing at a reasonable time (still plan on a late ending and chilly weather!). When registering, there will be an option to enter into a $10 Ace spot, as well as purchasing a special, limited release of a Watermelon-themed Axiom Pitch (only 10 available, so they will be ‘first come, first served!).
