Lunch will be provided for all players with their entry fees. Caddy's can purchase meals, please let us know ahead of time if you have a caddy who will want to eat. Lunch will be a make your own sandwich bar with chips and dessert.1:30pm

There will be fun side games for prizes set up to play at lunch and following round 2. These games will be included in your entry fee. There will also be a Throw Pink putting game with a Discatcher 24 awarded for the best score. Bring your dollar bills, the game will be $2 to play with all proceeds going to Throw Pink's Collegiate Initiative.

This event is modeled after the format used in the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships. Teams of 4 women will play two rounds of Team Doubles Play. To keep it simple for the first year of the event we decided to not do a rating cap. Teams can be made up of any combination of amateur players regardless of rating. However, only one player classified professional is allowed per team.
What is Team Doubles Play?
Doubles is played with two sets of teammates, one ODD, one EVEN. The ODD set will tee off on every odd-numbered hole, while the EVEN set tees off on every even-numbered holes. After the tee shots, the team chooses which of the two lies to play. From there, the set that did not tee throws their two shots. Again, the whole team decides which lie to play from and the set that teed off would throw. That alternating process continues until the hole is complete. On the next hole, the corresponding set of teammates according to the hole number, ODD or EVEN, would tee off no matter which set putted out on the previous hole. This format allows for each player to tee off the same amount of times and for teams to play as whole. Each hole has two teams playing together as an eight-some.
During lunch and after round two we'll have fun side games for distance, accuracy, putting, and a few more challenges that give players a chance at individual and team prizes.
This format generally runs fast, and with it being a one day two round event we hope you can squeeze us into your 2019 schedule for the inaugural Women's Team event.
For those wishing to make a weekend of it, The Bear is allowing camping on the property both Friday and Saturday night for only $10 a night (per tent, not per person).
Lunch is provided as part of the player packs, and other food will be available to purchase on site for breakfast and snacks.
Along with lunch, you will also be receiving matching team shirts in your packs. Team colors are selected on a first come first serve basis, so get your team signed up ASAP!
