About this tournament

Welcome to the South Carolina State Disc Golf Championship (SCSDGC). We are giving every level of competition a true test to claim the coveted title of “Division State Champion.” Divisions will be separated in to two pools (A, and B pool).
The event schedule is listed with all the information you need to know regarding courses, pools, and where you are playing.

PRACTICE ROUNDS AT HOUNDSLAKE CC
Practice rounds will be available from 12/3 - 12/5. Golf carts are mandatory for practice rounds ($25 for cart fee/greens fee). You will need to contact Houndslake CC directly at 803-648-6805 to schedule your tee time. Tee times are on a FirstComeFirstServed basis. If they sell out of available tee times, they sell out. You MUST CALL AHEAD TO SCHEDULE YOUR PRACTICE ROUND TEE TIME.

Dress Code and NO EXCEPTIONS RULES
NO JEANS! NO DENIM! NO RIVETS!
You MUST wear a Collared Shirt. We understand that December is typically cooler temps. If you need to wear a jacket or hoodie, it is approved. IF you are wearing jeans or denim products, you will NOT be allowed to check in at Houndslake CC. This is club rules and we will all abide by them.
Golf etiquette applies to all areas of Houndslake Country Club.
Illegal Drugs are expressly banned on Houndslake Property. It goes without saying, but we are obligated to say this as part of the contract.
This is a Proper Southern Country Club, please respect the culture as such. We are guests at the CC and they have strict rules that we must abide by. The rules and culture of the CC are not out of the ordinary and are easy to follow and stay within. Please help us respect the CC so we can continue to use their property.
Golf carts are used at Houndslake CC during practice. Any abuse or misuse of golf carts and you will be DQ'd from the event and banned from the property. Any damage to golf carts will be at the expense of the card mates that check the cart out
Under no circumstances are you to park in the neighborhood. The Houndslake HOA WILL tow your vehicle. Park at the CC parking lot, check-in at the ProShop, and go from there.
You may encounter Houndslake Residents on or near the course. Please be respectful. They are wonderful people who are curious and excited about Disc Golf. Don't worry, they understand the rules of Ball Golf. Their feedback to the Country Club directly affects our ability to host tournaments at Houndslake. Just remember basic Golf Etiquette and everything will be fine.
Breaking the Club Rules of Houndslake Country Club can get you banned from the property [for life]. This will result in disqualification from the tournament and banned from the tournaments at HLCC in the future. We want everyone to have a good time, so please don't be that guy.

ADDED CASH
With multiple qualifiers throughout the season, added cash will continue to grow, and could reach several thousand dollars. This is just a projection! Added cash will be divided EQUALLY across the entire playing field.
For example:
$3k added from SCSDGC Qualifiers throughout the year
Full field of 144 with 72 Pro and 72 Am (doing it this way instead of pools for easy math)
$1500 added cash to Pro purse + the $750 (covered by AHS)
$1500 added to Am payout
For now, the "added cash" will be the only tool used on DGS until we know the field, when registration closes. Once registration closes, we will then populate the added cash/added value according to the field.

WAITLIST NOTICE
In accordance with PDGA Competition Rules 1.02(D) & 1.03(B), The Waitlist entry will be a non-refundable $5 fee.
When you get promoted you will have 48 hours from the time of your promotion to pay the full entry fee.
You will get an automated email from DGS when you are promoted; We will also email you as a courtesy.
If you do NOT pay the full entry fee within 48 hours, you will be moved to the end of the waitlist and the next person will be promoted.
Adrenaline Heaven Sports has decided to change to this waitlist structure in an effort to provide you with more opportunity as a player. We understand the growth of the sport and tournament play has reached new heights. This allows players that did not get in to the physical event pay less than the full entry fee and sustain less fees with registration platforms. We feel this is a better model for all.
There are no exceptions to this policy.

There are greens fees with this event. All fees paid to Aiken County and Houndslake CC are as follows:
$5 greens fee to Aiken County
$25 greens fee paid to Houndslake CC
$30 total fees for use of the facilities and amenities.
