You must play in a qualifier to compete in this event. This is why it is an XB PDGA sanctioned tournament.

Welcome to the South Carolina State Disc Golf Championship (SCSDGC). We are giving every level of competition a true test to claim the coveted title of “Division State Champion.” Divisions will be separated in to two total pools (A and B pool). All pools are guaranteed to play a minimum of 36 holes. With a full field, we will only take 36 players from each pool to finals on Sunday. Some State Champion titles will be claimed after Saturday’s rounds are completed.

With limited light and a smaller field, this is the best decision for the betterment of finals. All Junior division State Champions will be crowned on Saturday. Other divisions will be determined based on event registration.

ADDED CASH
With multiple qualifiers throughout the season, added cash is projected to be over $3k. This is just a projection! Added cash will be divided EQUALLY across the entire playing field.

For example:
$3k added from SCSDGC Qualifiers
Full field of 144 with 72 Pro and 72 Am
$1500 added cash to Pro purse + the $750
$1500 added to Am payout

For now, the "added cash" will be the only tool used on DGS until we know the field, when registration closes. Once registration closes, we will then populate the added cash/added value according to the field.

Junior Div <10 will only play 1 round a day.
For single day events that are scheduled for 2 rounds, they play just the morning round. A two day, three round tournament means they will play the morning round on day 1 and then the final round on day 2. We will reduce the entry for divisions <10 to $30. Their breakdown will be as follows:
