About this tournament
2023 Smokin Aces DG Tour, our seventh annual disc golf tour, brings you "South City Showdown". A B-tier with $750 added cash, this is the first stop of our tour again this year. We will play two iconic St. Louis courses, Jefferson Barracks and Willmore Park. One round will be at JB, a well maintained park that has been the home to many rounds of disc golf since it was installed in the mid 90's. Well shaped fairways and lines will offer some challenges but also provides holes where you can make up strokes with good drives off the tee. We will break for one hour after last card is turned in for lunch (not provided) and start round 2. The second course is Willmore Park. A longer course of the two, Willmore has some fairways that will let you air out your distance drivers. With elevation changes, mature trees and well spaced holes, its a nice compliment to JB. For the AMs we have some sick plastic lined up with stamp #1 of the 2023 Tour Series Collection by Chad Wolford. And we will have our Smokin Aces Raffle with plenty of great prizes including some gear from the Tour's new bag sponsor for the year... Upper Park Disc Golf!!! All proceeds from the raffle go back into the tour! We are capping at 144 and splitting the courses again this year!
